Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr The Package
$120k - $180k Base Salary + Production Relocation Assistance for Eligible Candidates Paid Time Off (You are not required to make up production while on PTO.) Maternity Leave 401k (You receive a 100% match on the first 3% you put in, plus a 50% match on the next 2%.) Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a practice that provides care for dogs and cats and is currently hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on weekends. Doctor hours are to be discussed. This is a full-time position.
Role Description And Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will develop a rapport with clients to understand their needs and wishes, perform physical examinations, and carry out diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures to deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress. Responsibilities include explaining examination findings, communicating diagnoses, presenting treatment plans, and educating clients on preventative health care such as vaccines and nutrition. The veterinarian will maintain accurate medical and surgical records, follow established protocols, assist colleagues with follow-up care, attend Continuing Education meetings, contribute to paraprofessional team development, and positively represent the hospital in the community. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with ultrasound, blood work capabilities, and both digital and dental x-ray equipment. It offers high-quality, personalized veterinary care in a welcoming and modern environment. Services include preventive and primary care, surgical and dental procedures, diagnostics, urgent care, and virtual care.
Candidate Requirements
Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA) Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
