Position Description MBK Engineers seeks a motivated individual to join our team. The primary responsibilities include:

Collaborating with teammates across practice areas to address complex water resources challenges;

Managing small to mid-sized engineering projects and serving as a specialist in one or more areas;

Mentoring junior team members and fostering positive relationships within the community of practice;

Researching and applying new technologies to improve accuracy, scalability, and documentation of our work;

Enhancing analytical skills and expertise in water resources engineering;

Preparing detailed memoranda and reports, and effectively presenting technical information to peers and clients;

Supporting clients in complying with evolving flood control standards, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in civil, agricultural, environmental, or water resources engineering, hydrology, or a related field, from an accredited institution, along with 10 years of relevant experience. California Professional Engineer registration is required. Experience with team collaboration, public speaking, fieldwork, and flood control in California is preferred.
