Input Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled
AV Technician
to support the Office of Information Technology at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM). The role involves managing digital technologies, programs, and events, requiring audio-visual expertise and excellent customer service skills. Location: The Office of Information Technology, USHMM, Washington, DC Responsibilities: Operate and inspect audio-visual equipment for exhibits, ensuring proper functionality. Prepare exhibits for early or late visits, including installation and maintenance of AV equipment. Perform routine system maintenance and replace projector bulbs as needed. Set up classrooms, conference spaces, and other areas for meetings, training, video conferencing, and events. Configure captioning, audio levels, and camera views for live streaming and recordings. Assist with PowerPoint presentations and collaborate with outside contractors for special events. Support hybrid programs through video conferencing and streaming setups. Manage recordings, reformat for stakeholders, and support temporary exhibit AV systems. Experience and Certification Requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience with AV systems integration or service. Strong troubleshooting skills, self-management, and independence. CTS certification or equivalent experience. Ability to lead technical aspects of special events. Experience with video switchers (SDI, NDI), live sound mixing, and hybrid conferencing support. Ability to interpret AV system diagrams and documentation. Excellent communication skills. Multi-tasking and deadline management skills.
