Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering with ten (10) years of relevant professional experience Candidate must have CCNP Candidate must have a TS/SCI clearance Four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree Job Description:
The team member provides support and serves on the Network Administration team, including technical support to Network and System Administrators, monitoring and maintaining current infrastructure, improving system performance, and automating system administration. This position also involves developing algorithms used in modules or integrated into models related to research and development of technologies and systems involving: Traditional circuit-switched networks Data networks Access technologies Wireless systems Media for carrying services Protocols for transport and services Network operation and management Resource provisioning Traffic and performance modeling Domain Skills:
Experience with enterprise-level network design, engineering, and administration Experience with networking devices such as firewalls, switches, and fabric interconnects (brands include Cisco, McAfee, Palo Alto) Experience interfacing with customer points of contact to evaluate networking needs and explain technical terms to non-technical stakeholders (Preferred) Experience with Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, or McAfee Enterprise firewalls (Preferred) Experience with VMWare ESXi cloud architectures (Preferred) Experience with VMWare NSX (SDN networking)
