Responsible for the medical assessment and care of patients by collaborating with the Nurse Manager- Health Services & PI and ARNPs and providing consultations and referrals between medical staff. Also, provides on-call responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

Assesses patients' physical health on admission and throughout their stay, including physical exams, lab evaluations, x-rays, and EKGs. Ensures accurate and thorough documentation of all assessments and provides clinical oversight of ARNPs' activities and documentation. Provides on-call coverage for after-hours care and makes referrals for tests and consultations, following up on results and recommendations. Monitors ongoing care of patients' medical conditions, provides consultations to psychiatric staff, and oversees the Axis III portion of the recovery plan. Educates patients and families on Substance Use Disorder (SUD) diagnoses, collaborates with staff in other disciplines, and complies with safety procedures and abuse reporting. Qualifications & Requirements

Education Graduate from an accredited nursing school. Advanced degree in nursing qualifying as an ARNP Experience Two (2) years of MAT clinical experience after graduation if preferred. Licenses/Certifications Licensed in the state of employment. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and applicable certifications. Board certified or eligible in internal or family medicine.
