Sr Workforce Data Solutions Analyst Apply Now Apply Later Job ID 10125986 Location Anaheim, California, United States Business Disneyland Resort Date posted Jul. 23, 2025 Job Summary: About the Role & Team The Senior Workforce Data Solutions Analyst is a strategic and analytical role responsible for leading and contributing to the design, development, testing and implementation of workforce strategy solutions to influence and support Executive and client decision-making and insight. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency , strong communication skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and partners across the organization. The analyst will also mentor peers and hourly Cast Members, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and inclusion . The role is accountable for important project work and is the primary support of the Workforce Strategy Manager – Data Solutions in their absence . This role will report to the Workforce Strategy Manager-Data Solutions. What You Will Do: Perform business analysis including information gathering, requirements definition and documentation, process modeling and mapping. Translate into system specifications and deliverable solutions Balance competing demands, prioritize multiple tasks independently, and adapt quickly to evolving business needs Lead troubleshooting of both data and code quality issues Create quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to support business decisions for workforce strategies and perform ad hoc analysis as necessary Provide high-level estimation of labor impact and cost based on initial requirements for new and revised tools, reporting, etc. Lead change management efforts related to data, system, or process changes while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement Demonstrate influence and negotiation skills with Operating partners, including Executives, Scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Casting, Finance, and Training, to drive business results Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant IT technologies and development methods/tools. This may involve attending seminars, training events and reading relevant journals and technical documentation. Maintain a good working knowledge of development technologies currently in use Design and analyze large data sets from multiple disparate data sources (current and new), creating and presenting an understandable, actionable result that drives important financial, legal (labor compliance), negotiations, and operational decisions Demonstrate and mentor the highest professionalism, and drive compliance and confidentiality regarding all communication, data, intellectual property, etc. Lead meetings related to projects and other initiatives. Provide necessary communication in the absence of the Workforce Strategy Manager – Data Solutions Mentor a highly motivated team of analysts and lead hourly specialists, fostering a culture of growth Lead collaboration with system, data, and analytics end-users to identify opportunities for new capabilities in information, analysis, and reporting on large and complex data sets Foster strong client and partner relationships through collaboration and idea-sharing to achieve shared goals Ensure consistency and efficiency by working seamlessly across Cast Scheduling & Workforce Strategy Serve as a development and technical lead for projects and provide training and guidance to reports and team members Develop project plans that include appropriate partners , timelines and goals Break large complex problems into small and testable scenarios Required Qualifications & Skills: 2+ years of workforce analytics, data strategy, or related experience, demonstrating professionalism and maturity in an hourly or salaried role, and experience leading or mentoring others Ability to lead and adhere to confidentiality training regarding all communication, data, intellectual property, etc. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving and decision-making Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels with a focus on Guest service Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights while providing nimble, intuitive, and low maintenance solutions and data storytelling for complex scenarios and time-consuming problems Demonstrated strong organization, multi- tasking and time management skills with attention to detail Strong technical and analytical skills with experience in analytic software packages, data visualization tools and statistical programs (e.g., Excel, Tableau, PowerBI , SQL, SAS) and adaptable to new technologies Proven experience with object-oriented or interpreted languages (e.g., Angular, C++, C#, .NET, JS, and Python) Passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion including inviting diverse perspectives, promoting an inclusive work environment and driving workforce diversity through recruitment efforts Proven knowledge in the Cast Scheduling & Workforce Strategy systems and processes Participate in an on-call rotation and cross functional sustainment duties with the team Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including time of day, weekends, and holidays Preferred Qualifications: 4+ years of Leadership experience Thorough understanding of Disney Policies, Collective Bargaining Agreements and laws related to workload, staffing, and scheduling processes Experience with HR systems, tools and reporting processes Experience working in technology and process improvement projects related to workload and staffing Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in related business/computer science/project management or equivalent work experience Additional Information Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
