Description Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistants (PA-C) licensed in Oregon to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities. Behavioral Health Solution's team of mental health treatment professionals specializes in providing comprehensive behavioral health services for adults and geriatrics in a variety of settings. BHS encourages a collaborative culture with hands-on leadership. As a leading provider of behavioral health services, we are seeking skilled professionals of the highest caliber who share our commitment to providing state-of-the-art psychiatric services. Service areas to incorporate: Portland, Hillsboro Responsibilities Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Assess patient’s mental status based on symptoms. Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans. Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments. Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists. Job Type Full-time or Part-time W2 Billable Hour or 1099 Independent Contractor Requirements Licensed in Oregon by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry. Licensed by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA). Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees). 1 year of Geri Psych Experience. 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals. Skills Basic computer knowledge. Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus). Strong interpersonal skills. Flexible and able to work under stressful situations. Fluency in Spanish is a plus!
