Position Summary Answer calls in a courteous, professional, efficient, and prompt manner Pre-registering new patients into the Epic EMR system Schedule patient appointments using the Epic EMR system Verify patient insurance/benefits, as appropriate Respond to patient inquiries and complaints Direct patient phone calls to the appropriate destination when beyond scope Complete outbound calls to patients to schedule future appointments Return patient calls/messages and provide additional information as necessary Adhere to all HIPAA and ACCESS policies regarding patient privacy Other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GED Two years’ relevant experience in customer service (health care preferred) Willing to work flexible hours Basic proficiency in computer skills Medical terminology knowledge preferred Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred Schedule Training for 4-6 weeks on site at 3450 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60608 from 8:30am to 5pm M-F. Potential opportunity to work remotely after successfully completing training. Regular shift after training will be 10:30am to 7pm M-F and rotating Saturdays 7:30am to 4pm. The pay ranges provided represent the minimum to mid-range for positions.
