Role and Responsibilities Act as a key interface between Trading IT and the business, ensuring a strong understanding of the specificities of the U.S. gas and power trading market. Proactively engage with trading teams to align technology solutions with business objectives and priorities, identifying opportunities to add value. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with the overall Trading IT strategy and system landscape. Work closely with software and application engineers to design and deliver tailored solutions that enhance trading operations. Prepare and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring compliance with user, business, and functional specifications, as well as IT control frameworks. Engage with business analysts and IT professionals across the Trading IT organization to drive consistency and efficiency in solution delivery. Contribute to the strategic roadmap and resource planning of the delivery team, ensuring IT initiatives effectively support the evolving needs of the trading business. Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance or Quantitative finance 3+ years of work experience in a utility or a commodity trading environment, with knowledge of the energy markets Knowledge of front-to-back system flows and trade lifecycles including understanding of different physical and derivatives instruments and their respective risks and P&L measures Strong interest in IT and technology, and experience of software engineering and application management Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and to work under pressure, good communication and organizational skills, and attention to detail The salary range for this role is US$90,000 - US$140,000.
