We are looking for a COBOL Developer to join our team for a long-term contract in Atlanta, GA (hybrid). Contract Duration: 12 Months Required Skills & Experience 6+ years of experience in COBOL development using Linux. Experience with COBOL relational databases (Oracle preferred). Proficiency in Unix. Understanding of SOAP or REST APIs using XML/JSON interchange. C programming experience and familiarity with AWS or other cloud technologies (preferred but not required). What You Will Be Doing Construct, test, and implement portions of business and technical IT solutions following the software development lifecycle methodology. Participate in standard business and technical solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions. Use appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and technical problems. Apply specialized knowledge in areas such as assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, knowledge engineering, industry expertise, or legacy system evolution. Interact with customers to understand business environments and technical contexts. Validate scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr
