The Opportunity
As Director of Global Retention Strategy & Operations, you will lead the development and execution of strategies that drive customer retention, renewal performance, and operational excellence across all lines of business. This role is pivotal in shaping Adobe’s global retention vision, ensuring alignment across ecosystem teams, and delivering measurable business impact. You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to build scalable programs, monitor performance, and drive transformation initiatives that support Adobe’s long-term growth. What You’ll Do
Retention Strategy
- Set annual retention, attrition, and renewal targets across all business lines. - Identify key improvement areas and develop strategies to capture those opportunities. - Evaluate performance drivers and recommend high-impact strategies to ecosystem leaders. Retention Performance Management
- Monitor global retention and renewal performance. - Identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to ensure business objectives are met. - Provide insights grounded in solution, segment, and geo-specific dynamics. Retention Programs
- Manage global retention programs to ensure business objectives are achieved. - Proactively identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and drive key program components. Renewal & Renewal Operations
- Build robust operational processes to manage performance and programs. - Develop and drive a transformation roadmap aligned with the end-state vision. - Secure ecosystem alignment and selectively lead roadmap initiatives. What You’ll Need to Succeed
Skills & Experience
- 10+ years in strategic operations, retention, or GTM roles with a track record of driving measurable impact. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with fluency in both quantitative and qualitative analysis. - Exceptional communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and influence senior executives - Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple programs simultaneously. - Experience coaching and developing talent across teams and ecosystems. - Respected as a thought partner across functional boundaries. - Demonstrates ecosystem leadership by influencing without authority. - Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex environments. - Committed to people development and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Strategy, or a related field; MBA preferred. - Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce). Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $153,600 -- $319,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
