Job Description Responsibilities: Define business use cases with partners to enhance or develop new efficient business processes using statistical and advanced analytics. Create detailed business requirements for functional (business processes, rules) and non-functional (data, security) capabilities. Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs. Develop data collection strategies across systems to optimize and maintain data quality: collect, clean, transform, analyze as needed. Utilize primary and secondary data sources; maintain databases and systems. Profile data sources with SQL and other tools to support data quality and BI efforts. Identify and interpret trends in complex datasets; prepare inventories for analytical tool development/training. Perform other duties as assigned. Apply basic data governance concepts within the financial services industry. Understand ETL and data flow principles. Design data models, develop databases, perform data mining and segmentation. Apply statistical methods, including hypothesis testing. Implement machine learning and other data science techniques. Program in Python. Create data visualizations using tools like Qlik Sense and Tableau. Skills in: Retrieving, blending, and analyzing data from various sources using tools like Alteryx. Scripting in Python, R, SQL, etc. Building understandable models for business use. Combining data sources for meaningful dashboards. Using report writing and visualization tools (Qlik Sense, Tableau, PowerBI). Ability to: Focus on client needs, identify issues and opportunities, compare data sources, and suggest next steps. Communicate effectively across media, explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Challenge norms, collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes. Make informed decisions considering constraints and risks. Stay current with data science trends and develop professional skills. Build collaborative relationships and deliver work on schedule. Education Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics. Work Experience 3 to 6 years of general experience. Certifications Not specified. Travel Less than 25%. Workstyle Hybrid.
