SBH Health System
Blood Bank laboratory technologist, under the supervision of the laboratory supervisor, will be responsible for performing daily tests in the Blood Bank and other duties necessary to maintain laboratory operations. The role requires working on weekends and holidays. The technologist collaborates with other laboratory sections and hospital departments to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology from an accredited program. • Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist by the New York State Education Department. • At least one year of relevant Blood Bank laboratory experience.
