Seeking an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist

Join our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons in the NYU Langone Advanced Heart Failure Program. The position is primarily based in Long Island, where we have seen tremendous growth in all areas of heart failure, including cardiac sarcoid and amyloid. The candidate will care for post-LVAD and transplant patients at NYU-LI and will have the opportunity to manage recent post-heart transplant cases while rotating at the NYU Manhattan campus, gaining exposure at one of the largest and most innovative heart transplant programs in the country. NYU Long Island boasts a robust cardiogenic shock program with all mechanical support devices available on site. Procedural opportunities include right heart catheterizations, endomyocardial biopsies, and pulmonary artery sensor placements, if interested. Experience in cardiovascular genetics and amyloid is a plus but not mandatory. Qualifications

Early to mid-career, Board Certified/Eligible Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist Experience or training in managing acute mechanical support devices, LVADs, and pre/post heart transplant patients Comfort in managing critically ill patients This is a full-time academic position offering extensive clinical, research, and teaching opportunities at one of the top 10 academic medical centers in the United States. Compensation

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $300,000 to $450,000. This range is for full-time employment and does not include incentives or benefits. Actual salary may vary based on experience, training, hospital/community needs, and other factors.
