Licensed Clinical Psychologist
to work at a facility in
San Diego, CA . These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate:
$72 / hour.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in an acute care setting
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from an APA‑accredited institution
Completion of APA‑accredited internship in psychology OR 1 year fellowship/residency in health psychology/behavioral medicine
1 year relevant experience within the past 4 years
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any U.S. state, D.C., Guam, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands
U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities
Practice within the guidelines of the state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges
Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate
Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders
Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries
Assist in rehabilitation of patients
Deliver brief, consultation‑based services to patients and PCMs using an integrated care model. Services provided are standard and mimic the structure, function, and pace of primary care (i.e., psychotherapy or other specialty care psychological assessments are inappropriate and therefore prohibited)
Provide timely and succinct feedback to primary care physicians regarding consultation findings and recommendations
Determine the appropriateness of the patient receiving services in the primary care setting and assisting with implementation of treatment plans
Formulate behavioral health interventions appropriate to primary care setting and assisting with implementation of treatment plans
Provide brief follow ups, including relapse‑prevention education
Develop, teach, and provide oversight for classes that promote education and skill‑building to enhance psychological and physical health
Provide concise documentation of care and recommendations in patient’s medical record in no less than 24 hours after the patient is seen
Participate in group medical appointments including Shared Medical Appointments (SMA) and Drop‑in Group Medical Appointments (DIGMA) as requested by the PCM
Provide technical direction and clinical insight into relevant projects being conducted at the site of service
