About the Opportunity UNM Medical Group, Inc. (UNMMG) is seeking dedicated and compassionate physicians (MD/DO) who are board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease to join our Truman Health Services (THS) team.

We have flexible openings available at our Albuquerque main clinic and Roswell satellite clinic, offering part‑time schedule for our Roswell, NM clinic or part‑time to full‑time schedule at our Albuquerque, NM clinic (0.5–1.0 FTE).

Position Summary Under indirect supervision, the physician provides and manages direct healthcare for a specified patient population, including:

Performing physical exams, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment

Prescribing medications and developing treatment plans

Referring to specialists as appropriate

Participating in health promotion and prevention programs

Supporting interprofessional collaboration and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

MD or DO with 3–5 years of related experience (including residency)

Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease

New Mexico medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
