About This Role The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the strategic direction, profitability, and full life‑cycle management of Fireye’s aftermarket product portfolio. This role combines market analysis, pricing strategy, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive growth and maintain Fireye’s leadership position in the combustion control industry. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and business acumen, a deep understanding of industrial markets, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable pricing and product strategies that align with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Roadmap Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive aftermarket strategy and portfolio roadmap that aligns with Fireye’s long‑term business objectives.
Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the full product lifecycle, including product introductions, rationalizations, and discontinuations.
Demand Forecasting & Inventory Management: Forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and develop strategies to minimize obsolescence.
Market & Competitor Analysis: Research global and regional market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer behaviors to identify opportunities and risks. Provide ongoing competitive intelligence to support strategic decision‑making.
Cost & Profitability Management: Analyze product and service costs, supply chain factors, and margin data to inform pricing decisions and optimize profitability. Partner with Finance and Operations to ensure accurate cost modeling and profitability tracking and to ensure pricing and product strategies are aligned with business objectives. Develop and maintain pricing models and structures based on market dynamics, cost data, and statistical analysis. Create and execute pricing programs designed to improve market share and revenue growth. Monitor and report on pricing performance, market share, and revenue targets. Provide data‑driven insights and recommendations to senior management to adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in product management or product marketing, preferably within the industrial, HVAC, or controls sector.
Proven success in managing aftermarket or service‑related product portfolios.
Strong analytical skills, with experience using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or other data analytics platforms.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across cross‑functional teams.
Demonstrated experience in strategic pricing, cost analysis, and profitability optimization.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Strategic thinker capable of developing actionable plans based on market intelligence.
Collaborative and able to work effectively across diverse functional areas.
