AWS Cloud Architect
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to lead the migration and deployment of applications to the AWS cloud.
Responsibilities
Work on migrating applications from on‑premises locations to cloud service providers.
Quickly understand how the on‑prem implementation is working and implement the roadmap to migrate the application to the cloud.
Develop products and services on the latest technologies through contributions in development, enhancements, testing and implementation.
Lead and manage a team, providing strategic planning and oversight.
Lead teams in the implementation of solutions according to design and architecture.
Define new architectures and drive independent projects from an architectural standpoint.
Lead customer workshop sessions to educate customers on the latest technology trends and best practices.
Estimate projects and define team structures.
Demonstrate success in managing complex and/or large consulting projects and delivering solutions within defined timeframes.
Qualifications
Minimum 12 years of professional experience with strong AWS knowledge and technology migration/transformation experience.
Leadership and team management experience.
Strong knowledge of AWS S3, EC2, RDS, Glue, Lambda, and other core AWS services.
Experience with container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in CI/CD and deployment automation using GitLab pipelines.
Proficiency in cloud infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform.
Hands‑on experience building distributed systems with micro‑services, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Good grasp of securing data in the cloud, including systems with PII.
Solid understanding of delivery methodology and ability to deliver solutions according to design/architecture.
Experience in project and solution estimation and team structure definition.
Fluent on architecture trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction.
Background in defining new architectures and driving independent projects.
Experience leading customer workshops to educate on technology best practices.
Proven track record of leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes.
Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.
Bachelor of Computer Science (required).
AWS certification preferred.
Additional Information
Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000 per year.
Employment Type: Full‑time.
