Our CORE Product Development team seeks a detail‑oriented, passionate and dynamic individual to serve as an integral member of our post‑launch quality team. In this role you will collaborate across Engineering, Customer Excellence, Marketing, Supply Chain, Creative, ID, Quality, Manufacturing and Senior Executives to analyze marketplace learnings and drive sustainable product and process improvements. Your efforts will directly influence the reduction of returns and the enhancement of the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer complaints and investigate field failures, translating learnings into actionable engineering and consumer‑facing initiatives. Represent the voice of the consumer, coordinate corrective actions, follow‑up, and reporting.

Drive continuous improvement of product quality by reducing and preventing non‑conformances, and by defining and implementing metrics to evaluate the impact of these initiatives.

Support suppliers in 8D responses and regular quality resolution update meetings, including written investigation reports and review of supplier corrective actions.

Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, safety reviews, and review manufacturing and test documentation to ensure customer quality requirements are met or exceeded.

View the entire consumer experience at a macro level to identify detractors and track product performance, communicating key learnings and developments to appropriate workflows for action.

Partner with SharkNinja’s Customer Excellence team to monitor consumer reception and sentiment in the field.

Lead input‑tracker meetings with cross‑functional teams, discuss top issues and delegate actions.

Conduct critical analysis on engineering changes (ECN) to ensure they do not degrade product quality.

Track digital escalations and create accurate responses for customers to improve product understanding.

Manage product health reporting and drive continuous five‑star experience through iterative design improvements.

Continuously seek process efficiency – deliver impactful results in any situation.

Act as a product expert for cross‑functional team member questions and concerns.

Present status of activities and special projects to senior management regularly.

Travel to manufacturing partners in the US and abroad as required.

Be available to travel to the Failure Analysis Lab about twice per week (Waltham, MA).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in mechanical engineering, quality, product development, human factors engineering, or a related field, preferably at a consumer goods company.

At least 4 years of related engineering experience, preferably at a consumer goods company.

Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis skills.

Ability to multi‑task and handle competing priorities effectively.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, report preparation, business correspondence, and procedure‑writing skills.

Strong team player who can also work independently.

Change agent with energy, passion, and enthusiasm to drive change.

Demonstrated expertise in communicating within all levels of the organization around design verification, production control, CAPA, consumer complaints, and product improvement activities.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SharePoint is a plus.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven, high‑impact environment.

Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.

Proactive, resourceful, well‑organized, highly dependable, efficient, and detail‑oriented.

Willingness to travel.

Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $76,900—$143,800 USD. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
