seeking a
Director of Fiber Construction
to lead their
OSP/ISP build programs —with a strong focus on
data center and enterprise network projects .
This role suits a
hands‑on operations leader
who knows how to turn engineering plans into high‑quality, safely delivered builds. You’ll oversee regional construction teams, manage key clients, and ensure every project is delivered with precision and accountability.
What You’ll Do
Lead day‑to‑day field operations for aerial, underground, and inside‑plant fiber builds.
Oversee project managers, crews, and subcontractors to deliver safely, on time, and within budget.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients—serving as the senior point of contact on active programs.
Implement standardized construction workflows, QA/QC processes, and safety protocols.
Recruit, mentor, and develop field leadership talent.
Drive operational excellence through resource planning, performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
8+ years in OSP/ISP fiber construction, including 3+ years in a senior leadership or operations management role.
Proven success managing data center or large‑scale fiber builds from planning through close‑out.
Deep knowledge of fiber splicing, testing (OTDR), make‑ready, permitting, and construction standards.
Strong client‑facing communication and problem‑solving skills.
OSHA certification and a commitment to a zero‑incident safety culture.
Ability to travel regionally (up to 35–40%).
