Job Overview Senior Application Developer (C#, SQL Server, AI-Accelerated, AWS Cloud) will design, develop, and maintain high-performance enterprise applications, leveraging AI-powered tools and AWS services to accelerate delivery and quality.

Core Responsibilities

Use AI tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot for rapid prototyping, intelligent code completion, refactoring, and generating unit tests.

Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET (Core/Framework) services and applications, specializing in back-end logic, APIs (e.g., ASP.NET Web API), and enterprise solutions.

Develop, optimize, and tune high-performance SQL Server stored procedures, functions, and complex queries; analyze existing SQL code for performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.

Integrate applications with key AWS services: SQS for decoupling microservices, SES for transactional emails, S3 for object storage and static content hosting.

Enforce high standards of unit testing, maintain required code coverage, integrate coverage analysis into CI/CD pipeline; employ BDD and TDD techniques, using AI-assisted tools.

Manage small development projects independently, contribute as a senior team member on larger initiatives under Agile Methodologies; prepare, configure, and automate deployments to various environments, including production; provide technical support for escalated issues.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

5+ years of relevant work experience.

Knowledge of Agile Methodologies (XP, Scrum).

Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).

Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring, and unit testing.

Experience with Linux and open source software.

Financial services experience, especially mortgages and mortgage-backed securities, is desirable.

Compensation $90,000 - $150,000. Salary varies by role, location, skills, and experience. Eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives.
