Job Summary Our Medical Lab Scientist performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory. The commitment to service, safety and professionalism is critical to achieving the best experience for our patients.
What You Will Do In This Role
Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
Maintain records of performance, patient results and quality control.
Maintain equipment, record preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment.
Assist with laboratory training programs as required.
What Qualifications You Will Need
Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Certified Medical Lab, or Certified Lab Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or American Medical Technologist certification is required.
At least one year experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
