Full Stack Developer - Tech Dev
to support our Defense Intelligence client in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will bring experience in multiple development technologies and methodologies and intense process transformation skills to enhance the team's capabilities. Relevant experience for this role may include any or all of the following: software development, cloud engineering, management consulting, implementing software code, and debugging technical issues. Ability to research, test, build, and coordinate integration per government requirements. We are looking for a flexible software developer with experience delivering web solutions for the federal government, who is comfortable developing in multiple languages and is experienced in both front and back, microservices, and API development. Ability to work with the government lead to develop solutions, interface designs, and architecture of websites. This role requires you to be familiar with Agile development methodologies. We prefer candidates unafraid to tackle new technologies and stretch their competencies to areas of development they may not have encountered before.
Responsibilities
Creating, testing, and deploying robust web applications using modern technologies and frameworks.
Design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Building and maintaining server‑side logic using languages such as Python, C#, or Node.js. Ensure efficient database management using SQL databases.
Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Performing thorough testing of applications, identifying and fixing bugs, and ensuring the stability and performance of the applications.
Stay updated with the evolution, technological advancements with .NET Core, DevSecOps, Yaml scripting, and data science tools such as Data Bricks, Jupyter Notebook and building pipelines.
Ability to research, test, build, and coordinate integration per government requirements. Strong understanding of version control, Git, branching, and Agile methodologies.
Work with the government lead to develop the site concept.

JBAB (Washington, D.C.) or Reston, VA
Salary Range:
The salary for this position is between $165,000 - $185,000 annually. Factors affecting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or associate's with 10+ years' experience)
7+ years of software development experience
Experience in frontend and backend web application development.
Backend: professional experience with at least one back-end language to include .NET, C#, Python
Frontend: professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, using APIs, design, CSS, HTML, React
Strong SQL skills, or ORMs
Self‑motivated, able to take loose requirements and turn them into solutions
Willingness to reach out for guidance as well as offer alternative solutions
Experience using version control with GitLab or GitHub
Comfortable interacting with developers and non‑developers to solve technical challenges and requirements
Comfortable troubleshooting existing applications as well as creating new applications or features
Clear and frequent communication
Proficient in relational and non‑relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Dynamo, Postgres, MongoDB, etc., including schema design, data definition, and advanced queries.
Preferred
Full stack experience
Comfortable using a variety of tech stacks i.e. .NET/C#/Windows/SQL Server and Linux/Python/Postgres
Security +
Modern frontend development, for example React/Vue/Solid/Angular
Data analytics and data visualization
UI design
Atlassian suite of tools
Familiar with IA processes and accreditation
Meet DOD 8570 certification requirements (Security+) willing to get if not have already.
UI Path would be nice
Clearance Requirement
Must have active TS/SCI and be willing and able to get a CI polygraph
