Summary BMC is seeking an On‑Call PRN X‑ray Technician to join our healthcare team. This flexible role is ideal for professionals looking to:
Cover shifts during staff vacations
Work 1 day per week plus every 3rd weekend
Pick up extra hours for additional income or seasonal/holiday cash
Job Duties
Assist in overseeing the physical maintenance of the Radiology department, including equipment.
Maintain current knowledge of the computer systems used in the BMC Radiology department.
Perform the duties as a BMC X‑ray Technician.
Maintain effective working relationships within the Radiology department and with other BMC departments to ensure ongoing communication.
Consistently check each morning that QC tests have been run on the appropriate X‑ray system(s) and processors.
Assist in maintaining adequate stock of supplies by coordinating with the BMC purchasing department and the departmental site‑manager.
Required Experience
Good judgment on supply needs/stocking and equipment maintenance needs.
Strong radiographic skills.
Good understanding of ICD‑9 coding and billing procedures.
Education
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technologists.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Previous Experience
1+ years Radiology Technologist experience.
Experience in orthopedics and/or pediatrics.
Equipment maintenance experience.
Ordering and maintaining supplies.
Compensation
$30.45 - $39.59 per hour.
Location
Boulder, CO.
