Chicago-based law firm , who are actively looking to recruit a
Partner
who specializes in
real estate .
Job Description Due to a successful period of growth, this firm requires a Partner level attorney to join its real estate group in Chicago.
Key Responsibilities
This role will closely with lead Partners across the firm to develop the firm's real estate offering in Chicago.
The firm handles an array of real estate matters at a national level, including commercial leading, economic development incentives, industrial real estate, land use, multifamily, retail and real estate finance.
This is a key hire to assist in the development of the firm's practice group both in Chicago, and across its other regional offices.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a leading accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar of Illinois
7+ years of experience in real estate - ideally gained in a BIG LAW setting.
Operating as a partner (income or equity).
The firm does not require a portable book of business, but it is beneficial.
Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, wellness plans, and a 401k plan. Paid sick leave when applicable by state law.
Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
Anticipated Base Pay range (dependent on experience and portable book): $250k-$400k per annum
