Responsibilities
Prepare geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations, ensuring project deadlines are met.
Manage construction materials testing (CMT) projects: daily report review, issue resolution, and training of field staff.
Prepare geotechnical and CMT proposals, manage project budgets, change orders and invoices.
Host or attend project meetings with clients; deliver reports and provide technical solutions.
Assist or perform additional duties with supervision, including:
Preparing drilling packages & obtaining utility clearances.
Researching local geologic history.
Supervising field work (drilling/test pit crews) and rig access issues.
Classifying soil and assigning laboratory testing.
Mentoring Staff Project Managers, Assistant Staff Project Managers, and technicians in their development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's and/or Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar.
Minimum 2 years of related experience.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred.
Professional license required in each state of work; if not yet obtained, title “Manager” will be used.
Valid driver’s license required if driving for any ECS subsidiary.
