Program Director (Ridgewood YMCA)
The Program Director will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director in leading the day‑to‑day operations at the Ridgewood YMCA.
Salary: $70,000 Annually

Responsibilities
Oversee program portfolio including Youth and Family, Teen, YSAM, and off‑site funded programs.
Supervise Program Coordinator and other program staff.
Develop, administer, and evaluate program operations, ensuring high quality and alignment with strategic goals.
Plan, develop, and promote new and innovative programs, activities, and special events that meet community needs.
Adhere to Department of Health regulations and complete necessary monthly and program outcome reports.
Hire, train, develop, supervise, and evaluate part‑time and full‑time staff and volunteers.
Conduct regular staff meetings and provide professional development opportunities.
Maintain certifications and facilitate training sessions.
Manage budget objectives, prepare and monitor program budgets, payroll, and other fiscal tasks.
Monitor purchase and inventory of program equipment and supplies.
Participate in annual campaign fundraising initiatives.
Demonstrate YMCA values with staff, members, partners and community.
Oversee transactions in Salesforce/AS400 and respond to inquiries.
Represent the branch at program cabinets and maintain program quality.
Become certified trainer in at least two youth areas and lead training events.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in any field or equivalent experience required. Must include at least 15 credits in education, child development, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
Two (2) – four (4) years of developing and implementing youth programs, staff training, and development.
Knowledge of Program Development, Staff Development, and Budget Management required.
Knowledge and experience in budgeting and public policy are a plus.
Experience in SACC/CAMIS Licensing procedures.
Knowledge of youth/adolescent growth and development.
Computer literate. Knowledge of AS400 and Salesforce is a plus.
CPR, First Aid, or RTE Trainer credentials preferred.
Ability to handle multiple activities.
