This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Lingo Division. Working on Lingo, you will help build a next-generation technology that enables individuals to make decisions about how to improve energy, lose weight or enhance athletic performance. What You'll Work On
Build and maintain features across our Next.js web application and Azure Functions backend in a modern TypeScript monorepo Develop responsive, accessible UI components using React and Tailwind CSS Integrate third‑party services including CommerceTools, Contentful CMS, Auth0, Braze, and payment providers Write comprehensive tests using Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright Collaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver seamless customer experiences Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices Debug and resolve issues across the full stack, from UI to serverless functions Work with marketing and analytics teams to implement tracking and customer engagement features Contribute to our monorepo architecture using Turborepo and pnpm workspaces Required Qualifications
3-5 years of professional software engineering experience Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+) Hands‑on experience building production applications with React and Next.js (or similar frameworks) Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming Familiarity with modern CSS approaches (Tailwind CSS, CSS‑in‑JS, or styled‑components) Understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility standards Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Next.js (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions) Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure (Functions, Service Bus, Blob Storage) or AWS Experience with e‑commerce platforms like CommerceTools or similar Familiarity with headless CMS systems such as Strapi or Contentful Experience with payment integration and PCI compliance Knowledge of authentication systems like Auth0, NextAuth, or similar Understanding of monorepo architectures using Turborepo Familiarity with testing frameworks: Vitest, Jest, Playwright, or Cypress Experience with Docker and containerized deployments Knowledge of error monitoring tools like Sentry or similar APM solutions Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:
