Join EY as a Senior Manager Consultant in SAP Finance – Tech Consulting for Oil & Gas and Retail Fuel. This role is based in the United States and is open to candidates who can demonstrate expertise in SAP IS‑Oil, particularly Secondary Distribution Management (SDM) and Retail Fuel Network Operations (RFNO)."

In this role you will collaborate with business stakeholders, translate requirements into technical specifications, and work with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Own workstream delivery and manage processes and solutions.
Track deliverable completion and project status to ensure alignment with performance objectives.
Maintain client relationships and lead multiple workstreams across regions.
Shape strategic direction for SAP IS‑Oil implementations and digital transformation initiatives.
Oversee budget and resource planning.
Lead workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
Provide hands‑on experience in SDM, PAT, RFNO, data collation, and Rack Ticket feature using Process Ticket.
Engage with key business users to gather and define detailed functional requirements.
Support functional design and solutioning for IS‑Oil SDM and RFNO modules.
Collaborate with technical teams to align functional requirements with technical implementation.
Assist in gathering functional requirements and support UAT activities.
Lead User Acceptance Testing, ensuring business validation and readiness, and provide support during rollout and go‑live.
Desired Skills and Attributes
Bachelor’s degree (4‑year) or equivalent experience.
System configuration experience with SAP IS‑Oil.
Proficiency in system development life cycle.
Knowledge of technology business architecture frameworks.
Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
12+ years with SAP IS‑Oil, including at least two end‑to‑end implementations as Functional Lead or Solution Architect.
Deep functional expertise in SDM and RFNO modules.
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven track record as Solution Architect or Program Lead for multiple end‑to‑end implementations.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
Experience managing client relationships and expectations.
Strong background in technology analysis and implementation.
Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives.
Prior consulting industry experience.
SAP certifications.
Experience leading cross‑functional teams and large‑scale transformation programs.
Strong commercial acumen and proposal development skills.
