Technology Systems Implementation and Engineering – Technology Analysis – Retail Fuel – SAP Finance – Senior Manager Consultant.
The Opportunity EY's Agile Business Transformation, supported by SAP technology, provides organizations with tools to manage challenges in the digital era. The EY SAP collaborative approach considers both technological and business factors, including strategy, customer value, user experiences, processes, technology, and operational impacts together.
In this role, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate business models, processes, and operations. You will gather, understand, and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Additionally, you will analyze newly implemented technology solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities
Own workstream delivery and assist in managing processes and solutions.
Track deliverable completion and project status, ensuring alignment with performance objectives.
Own client relationships and lead multiple workstreams across regions.
Shape strategic direction for SAP IS-Oil implementations and digital transformation initiatives.
Add responsibility for budget oversight and resource planning.
Actively participate in client working sessions, leading workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
Hands‑on experience in SDM, PAT, RFNO, data collation, including Rack Ticket feature using Process Ticket.
Engage with key business users to gather and define detailed functional requirements.
Support functional design and solutioning efforts for IS-Oil SDM and RFNO modules.
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure alignment between functional requirements and technical implementation.
Assist in gathering functional requirements and support UAT activities.
Lead UAT, ensuring business validation and readiness; provide leadership during rollout and support the business during go‑live.
Skills And Attributes For Success
Bachelor’s degree required (4‑year degree).
System configuration experience.
Proficiency in system development lifecycle.
Knowledge of technology business architecture frameworks.
Willingness to travel (estimated 80%).
12+ years experience with SAP IS‑Oil.
Deep functional expertise in SDM and RFNO.
At least two end‑to‑end implementations involving SDM and RFNO as Functional Lead or Solution Architect.
Strong experience gathering business requirements and converting them into functional specs; bridging gap between functional and technical teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven track record as Solution Architect or Program Lead for multiple end‑to‑end implementations.
Exposure to at least one full cycle implementation.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Experience in managing client relationships and expectations.
Strong background in technology analysis and implementation.
Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives.
Prior consulting industry experience.
SAP certification(s).
Experience with at least three full cycle implementations of core module.
Additional qualifications that enhance ability to succeed.
Experience leading cross‑functional teams.
Experience managing large‑scale transformation programs.
Proactive problem‑solving and decision‑making approach.
Strong commercial acumen and proposal development skills.
