Revenue Accounting Manager
Our client is seeking a skilled Revenue Accounting Manager who thrives in dynamic, fast‑moving environments and brings a blend of technical expertise, operational rigor, and strong cross‑functional communication. Location:
Remote (West Coast)
Responsibilities
Lead the full revenue recognition process and ensure compliance with ASC 606.
Manage invoicing, customer billing, and deferred revenue in partnership with sales operations and accounting.
Oversee month‑end close activities, including revenue journals, reconciliations, and reporting.
Drive improvements across revenue, billing, and AR processes, systems, and internal controls.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to evaluate contracts, support audits, and assess revenue impacts.
Qualifications
5–10 years of revenue accounting experience in software environments with license and subscription models.
Deep knowledge of ASC 606, ASC 340, and U.S. GAAP revenue recognition standards.
Background in public accounting (Big 4 or similar) strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Excel, G‑Suite, Salesforce, and SAP S/4Hana.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.
Compensation Base pay: $130,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr (DOE)
