Ready to work with a growing food and beverage company that truly knows how to value its employees? We're looking for a Cost Accountant who can quickly step into a Plant Controller role within the next 2 years.
Responsibilities
Reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts and making journal entries
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
Updating standard cost, including calculating cost roll ups
Working with BOMs that require multiple levels of subassembly
Performing variance analysis on PPV, fixed overhead, and variable overhead
Reconciling physical inventory and cycle counts
Ensuring proper safety stocks while also managing overall costs of inventory
Determining slow and obsolete inventory, including working with spillage, shrinkage, and spoilage
Driving cost efficiencies in manufacturing and throughout the supply chain
Qualifications
3+ years of cost accounting experience in high-volume manufacturing
CMA is a plus
