Job Summary The Hotel Engineering Supervisor will report to the General Manager at Main & Sky and oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep of the hotel’s facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and guest‑friendly environment.

Responsibilities

Provide daily mechanical and electrical servicing, repair, and maintenance in an efficient, discreet, and guest‑friendly manner.

Address machinery malfunctions immediately to ensure prompt repairs.

Plan and manage all preventative maintenance work, new projects, extensions, and renovations, minimizing impact on the guest experience.

Fabricate and repair furniture and fixtures to maintain a well‑maintained establishment.

Respond promptly to guest requests.

Provide technical guidance, oversee project design and implementation, and collaborate with other departments.

Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets, monitoring progress and addressing concerns.

Conduct regular team meetings and evaluate individual and team performance.

Safely perform carpentry, painting, plumbing, and other hands‑on tasks; coordinate with contractors when necessary.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as an engineer in a hotel environment; management experience preferred.

Experience with boilers, chillers, HVAC, and related systems is required.

Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Must be available for on‑call shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
