Position Summary We are seeking an experienced
General Superintendent
to oversee multiple commercial roofing projects and field operations. This role is responsible for managing project superintendents, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and meeting project schedules and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support project superintendents and foremen across multiple job sites.
Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient project execution.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Oversee the quality of installation for all roofing systems, including single-ply and built-up roofs.
Review project progress, schedules, and job cost reports with project managers.
Mentor field staff and promote professional development and leadership within the team.
Maintain strong communication with clients, contractors, and internal departments.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or General Superintendent in commercial roofing.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, including single-ply (TPO, PVC, EPDM) and built-up roofing systems (BUR).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing multiple large-scale roofing projects simultaneously.
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
