First Shift (United States of America) Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Outpatient Nutrition Therapist / Dietitian to serve our outpatient oncology patients at the Heartland Clinic. If you are passionate about providing exceptional nutritional care and want to be part of a leading health network, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities
Manage medical nutrition care for a general patient population in outpatient oncology. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate nutrition into overall patient care plans. Use the Nutrition Care Process and Terminology (NCPT) to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nutrition care. Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and the community. Train students and participate in process improvement, outcomes measurement, and clinical research. Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent. Completion of accredited dietetics coursework and supervised practice (e.g., Didactic Program, Dietetic Internship). Knowledge of NCPT. Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in technology applications (word processing, nutrient analysis, spreadsheets). Critical thinking and clinical judgment skills. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential. Licensed Medical Nutrition Therapist (LMNT) in Nebraska. Preferred
Master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics or related field. Knowledge of Nutrition Focused Physical Exam (NFPE). Why Work at Nebraska Medicine?
