The County of San Diego is currently accepting applications for the position of

SENIOR CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST . Interviews will be held on Tuesdays, with job offers made shortly afterward. Salary: $120,952.00 annual base salary. Vacancies are available in the Health and Human Services Agency's (HHSA) Behavioral Health Services (BHS), Juvenile Forensic Services, Child Welfare Services, and Edgemoor Skilled Nursing Facility. The resulting list from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies. Positions:

BHS, Juvenile Forensic Services:

Based in juvenile detention facilities, providing psychological assessments, evaluations, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, and supervising interns. Child Welfare Services:

Located in regional offices, performing case consultations, evaluations, crisis support, and guidance on mental health issues. Edgemoor:

Full-time, on-site role serving 192 residents with duties including psychotherapy, capacity evaluation, behavioral planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, group therapy, policy development, and supervision of staff. Click

Post-interview, candidates should be prepared to complete background paperwork immediately. Job offer and background check: Shortly after interviews. If not selected, candidates may apply for future vacancies. Minimum Qualifications:

California licensure as a Psychologist. Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical, community, or educational psychology from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent. Four years post-doctoral experience in mental health, forensic, or correctional settings. Note: Candidates outside California must obtain licensure within two years of employment or face termination. A valid NPI number is required at employment. Resumes are not accepted in lieu of application and supplemental questionnaires.
