Business Development Manager
Job Purpose:
Develop relationships within the region to open doors to new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will deploy and practice global account strategy in conjunction with management to achieve the business's aims and objectives. Nature of Duties: Develop regional accounts Manage existing customers Ensure customer expectations are clearly understood, communicated, and met Coordinate Sanmina’s operations teams and the customer’s teams effectively Apply best business practices to benefit our customers Drive communication with existing customers, participate in QBRs, develop customer strategies, and solve problems Develop and strengthen relationships with all levels of customer management Identify and implement opportunities to improve service and grow revenue Work with the customer for timely payments, address E&O issues, and other out-of-scope charges/costs Develop relationships with customer engineering teams to learn of new opportunities Expand Sanmina’s market share with existing customers Drive regional growth with new customers Develop a business plan to identify all opportunities for IFS in the North America region Be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets Be familiar with the local market, customers, and opportunities Develop a professional network to identify and pursue opportunities Target customers, develop relationships, assess opportunities, and win new business Support SVA improvement actions defined and committed by the operations and account teams Coordinate quotation activity on new business opportunities with the Quote teams Assist in preparing proposals, meetings, and other activities aimed at customer opportunities Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree At least 5 years of sales experience Knowledge of the CM industry with a background in manufacturing and an understanding of global supply chains Excellent MS Office skills Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Experience working with remote cross-functional teams in large matrix organizations Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and organize Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
