Our client, a respected organization within the financial and professional services sector, seeks a dynamic Director of Campus Recruitment to lead and elevate their university relations and early talent acquisition strategy. This individual will revitalize underperforming campus territories, strengthen university partnerships, and build a consistent pipeline of high-potential interns and entry-level professionals. The role requires strong relationship-building, strategic planning, and hands‑on leadership to create a culture of performance and collaboration within the recruitment function.
Duties
Develop and execute comprehensive campus recruiting strategies to attract top student talent across multiple universities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with university partners including professors, career centers, and student organizations.
Manage recruiting events, information sessions, and career fairs to promote internship and early career opportunities.
Lead and coach a small team, including a campus coordinator, to deliver recruiting excellence and consistent candidate experiences.
Track and analyze recruiting data to drive continuous improvement in outreach, selection, and onboarding processes.
Partner closely with internal stakeholders to align recruitment strategies with overall business goals.
Manage budgets, travel schedules, and recruitment timelines with strong attention to detail and organizational discipline.
Champion a performance-driven and collaborative culture while leading strategic transitions and team development.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
Minimum three years of experience in sales or campus recruiting, ideally within financial services or a comparable professional services environment.
Proven success in sourcing and pipeline development using platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Handshake.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences, including students and academic leaders.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently across regional campuses for recruiting events and presentations.
Demonstrated organizational and analytical abilities to manage timelines, reporting, and performance metrics.
Understanding of higher education systems, student development, and university partnerships.
Collaborative mindset and adaptability within evolving team structures.
Preferred:
Based within reasonable proximity to key regional campuses for ease of travel and relationship management.
