Note:
This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide medical services at the scope and level of a Registered Nurse to maintain the health of employees and client personnel.
Assess urgent or emergent health needs, analyze data, and formulate a care plan with the medical team, considering the employee's capabilities and job requirements.
Recognize and treat illnesses and injuries according to established operating instructions within licensure and state regulations.
Ensure the integrity and security of all privacy laws.
Handle inquiries using knowledge of policies and practices for safeguarding information (HIPAA, PHI, PII), maintaining confidentiality.
Use research, reasoning, and follow-up skills to verify and document information, ensuring data integrity.
Multitask on various assignments, providing thorough work with a sense of urgency.
Maintain professionalism, ethical standards, discretion, and confidentiality in all communications and documentation.
Record and maintain patient information according to protocols and the Privacy Act.
Identify and record signs and symptoms of physical and mental conditions.
Exercise judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills daily.
Protect patient privacy through confidentiality, infection control, and proper equipment handling.
Perform duties safely, following the corporate safety policy.
Perform other duties as assigned per contract requirements.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing school.
Active, unrestricted RN State License and favorable credentialing.
At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
ACLS and BLS certification.
Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, organized, and communicate effectively.
Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment without physical limitations.
Flexibility to adapt to shift changes based on operational needs.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged sitting and standing.
Bending, stooping, and lifting as needed for patient care.
