Review and sign out surgical pathology biopsies, excision, and resection cases Review and sign out cytopathology cases Prioritize malignant cases and submit all first-time malignant cases for daily intradepartmental consensus conference for peer review and concordance Complete cases in the required turnaround time (TAT) at Kings County Hospital Participate in internal/external quality assurance, performance improvement activities and programs, and departmental meetings, and facility-wide training as needed Involve in processing of surgical pathology service management and quality improvement Instruct residents on service of general surgical pathology and cytopathology Participate in other clinical activities as requested by service director Qualifications

NY State Medical License Completion of an accredited residency/fellowship in Pathology 1+ years of experience preferred - New graduating residents and fellows are encouraged to apply AP/CP Board Certified or Board Eligible Wages and Benefits include: $130/hour Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C.
