We are seeking a

Neurohospitalist

(ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) in collaboration with the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology at the WVU School of Medicine. The successful candidate will practice at

Thomas Memorial Hospital

in Charleston, WV. Responsibilities

Practice in neurology, providing excellent patient care. Engage in teaching medical students and residents. About the Hospital

Thomas Memorial Hospital and St. Francis Hospital combined have 383 beds, 1,812 employees, and approximately 450 physicians. The Neurohospitalist will handle 3-4 consults daily. Acute strokes are triaged to J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, a Joint Commission-approved Comprehensive Stroke Center. Qualifications

MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, eligible for state licensure. Completed neurology residency, board certified or eligible in neurology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Community and Location
