Location Anywhere in Country
The Opportunity EY’s Agile Business Transformation, enabled by SAP, delivers strategic logistics solutions to improve cost, efficiency, quality and effectiveness. In this role you will assist clients in integrating their SAP ERP system with third‑party logistics (3PL) warehouse management systems (WMS) and non‑SAP legacy or “best of breed” WMS applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver quality SAP projects or workstreams.
Participate in Explore phase design workshops.
Configure SAP Inventory Management, Logistics Execution, Application Link Enabling (ALE) and related modules.
Design interfaces and integration between SAP and external WMS applications.
Design custom RICEF solutions and document functional specifications.
Perform solution testing.
Support development and delivery of training materials.
Provide on‑site hyper‑care support to client / 3PL warehouse users.
Demonstrate in‑depth technical capabilities and strong business acumen.
Assimilate new knowledge consistently.
Deliver quality client services, monitor progress, manage risk and keep stakeholders informed.
Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems.
Proven ability to manage engagement economics and resource planning.
Experience leading teams and managing change effectively.
Identify opportunities for additional services and lead specific RFP responses.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree (4‑year degree).
Typically 4‑6 years of relevant experience.
At least 3 years with SAP logistics solutions involving external WMS integration.
Experience designing interface solutions using EDI, X12, EDIFACT and/or API technologies.
Experience configuring SAP Logistics Execution, delivery processes, Materials Management and inventory management.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
Research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.
Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project‑based team members.
Flexibility and willingness to travel (40‑60%).
Ideally You’ll Also Have
Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience.
SAP certification(s).
At least two full‑lifecycle implementations of SAP S/4.
At least two full‑lifecycle integrations with an external WMS and SAP.
Experience with EDI messaging (messages 846, 856, 888, 940, 943, 944, 945, 947) and X12 or EDIFACT equivalents.Experience with API integration to non‑SAP WMS solutions.
Hands‑on SAP system configuration.
Designing custom RICEF solutions and writing functional specifications.
Writing and executing test scripts.
Writing and training materials for end users.
Knowledge of warehouse operations for distribution and/or manufacturing facility operations.
