Description Radiation Therapist at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. Full time, 8‑hour day shifts.

Under the direction of the Lead Radiation Therapist, Radiation Oncology Manager, Physicist, and Radiation Oncologists and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all professional duties involved in coordinating, preparing and administering radiation therapy treatments and simulation procedures within appropriate radiation safety practices. Acts in compliance with Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards. Performs duties under minimum supervision.

Required Qualifications

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.

California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire, or

California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a hospital setting.
