as a Strategy & Operations Health Plan Operations Managing Consultant to lead transformative healthcare projects and improve claims processing efficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement process improvements for healthcare clients’ claims processing operations.

Configure, analyze, and troubleshoot Epic Tapestry, FACETS, and other core operating systems.

Ensure seamless integration across downstream workflows and maintain data integrity.

Own all deliverables within engagements and serve as the primary client contact.

Lead initiative teams, coach junior staff, and deliver high‑quality project outcomes.

Drive continuous improvement of system performance and accuracy.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience with Epic Tapestry and/or FACETS in a healthcare payer or provider environment.

Broad understanding of Individual/Family (Retail), Commercial, and Medicare & Medicaid markets.

Deep knowledge of health plan functions: network configuration, claims adjudication, benefit design, and ancillary products.

Strong technical analysis, system configuration, and troubleshooting skills for claims or related healthcare applications.

Experience developing business requirements, liaising with technical architects, and facilitating implementation processes.

Familiarity with data integration tools, SQL queries, and interface troubleshooting.

Proven leadership: structuring engagement activities, delegating effectively, and coaching.

Strategy development experience preferred.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Must hold a Bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) preferred.

Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel up to 80% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits Salary Range:

$130,000 – $170,000 per year, with potential annual discretionary bonus. The role is full‑time, senior level, located in Chicago, IL.
