LaSante Health Center is seeking a
Pediatrician
to join our multispecialty, community-based health center in Brooklyn. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to children from infancy through adolescence, with a strong commitment to preventive care and family education. Creole-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide primary and preventive care for pediatric patients, including routine checkups, immunizations, and developmental screenings
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in children and adolescents
Counsel patients and families on nutrition, growth, and overall wellness
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Participate in quality improvement and public health initiatives
Complete additional tasks as directed by supervisor
Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Board certification
Current New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure
Experience in community health or outpatient pediatrics preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bilingual Creole/English strongly preferred
