Gastroenterologist
– Academic and Clinical practice, Mid‑Senior level, Full‑time
Employer and Location CommonSpirit Health – Hospitals and Health Care. Based in Omaha, Nebraska.
Partners: Creighton University School of Medicine (CUSOM). 5 Omaha‑metro area hospitals, including CUMC Bergan campus as an academic hub.
Job Summary and Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for the full spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases. Work with learners, residents, and fellows in the Gastroenterology fellowship program. Serve in a combined academic and clinical practice setting. Participate in clinical research and receive an academic appointment commensurate with experience.
Manage inpatient and outpatient care for gastrointestinal patients.
Engage with multidisciplinary teams and learners.
Contribute to the gastroenterology fellowship program.
Participate in clinical research activities.
Job Requirements
Active American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Gastroenterology certification (BE/BC).
Minimum 2‑year practice experience may be considered based on qualifications.
