Join Datadog as a Technical Account Manager 2 in the West/Midwest region to help our largest customers adopt and derive value from our comprehensive suite of products and features.
As a trusted technical advisor, you will provide hands‑on support, guide customers through adoption, and collaborate with product, engineering, and services teams to shape future capabilities. What You’ll Do
Advise customers on technical support and product adoption throughout the pre‑sales, post‑sales, and renewal lifecycle. Analyze customers’ IT Operations environments and recommend configurations or feature enhancements that maximize Datadog’s value. Champion the customer’s goals by suggesting process changes, product adoption, and additional features to meet their requirements. Participate in Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with customers. Collaborate with Datadog’s product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify new features, services, or product enhancements. Continuously evolve best practices to technical product adoption and customer success. Who You Are
Hands‑on experience with IT Operations, AWS, Azure, or GCP. Comfortable scripting with Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, Go, PHP, or Chef/Puppet. Skilled in using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab. Knowledgeable about containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher. Able to travel up to 30% of the time and sit for up to four hours per day. Previous experience supporting mid‑market or enterprise customers in the cloud space. Experience using Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools. Benefits and Growth
