Job Description The Dispensing Technician supports the manufacturing of therapeutic proteins (API) by accurately dispensing raw materials—liquids, powders, acids, and bases—under cGMP conditions. This role requires precision, compliance, and teamwork in a Class C cleanroom environment, with responsibilities spanning material handling, documentation, equipment monitoring, and safety adherence.
Responsibilities
Dispense hazardous and non-hazardous raw materials per cGMP guidelines.
Perform and monitor weighing processes for liquids, powders, acids, and bases.
Follow SOPs and execute process recipes with strict documentation compliance (GDP).
Conduct basic lab tasks: pH measurement, conductivity checks, sampling.
Wear PPE and gowning as required in Class C cleanroom.
Clean and sanitize dispensing equipment per schedule.
Complete peer and first‑level reviews of dispense orders/kits.
Prepare and transport materials to manufacturing suites.
Log material movements in physical and digital systems.
Participate in safety inspections and submit observations.
Attend shift exchanges, meetings, and contribute to assigned projects.
Support Logistics Team with additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Associate's degree (Science or Technical discipline preferred).
OR equivalent industry experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing.
Prior experience in GMP‑regulated environment preferred.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and cross‑contamination prevention.
Experience with material dispensing, weighing, and cleanroom operations is a plus.
