The Retail Engineering Apple Online Store (AOS) Quality team is seeking a motivated and talented engineer. To succeed, you must be a strong programmer, proficient in testing applications thoroughly, building test automation tools, and enhancing team velocity through automation. We are looking for a highly technical engineer who can research and apply the latest testing technologies, independently and collaboratively address issues, and influence teams to adopt best testing practices. Engage deeply with engineering teams throughout all development phases. Minimum Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience QA Automation & Testing experience on Web applications, with a proven record of detecting and reporting bugs Experience testing API/Web Services and Web applications; hands-on skills with Core Java, Karate, RestAssured, Playwright/Selenium, Appium/XCUI Solid understanding of build tools, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and code quality tools Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of QA Automation & Testing experience on Web applications with a consistent bug detection record Experience supporting eCommerce, Retail, or Payment platforms Familiarity with Agile, D2P processes, and project management principles Experience testing AI/ML applications, security, and accessibility features (preferred) Experience developing testing frameworks from scratch using industry best practices Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively Analytical problem-solving skills Understanding of NoSQL databases like Couchbase, MongoDB, and caching strategies Experience with Maven/Gradle and Git repositories Expertise in building and maintaining test environments and data-driven test suites Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI Ability to clearly present complex technical issues Apple is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
