Overview Windom Area Health is seeking a talented Front Office Specialist wound to join our Wound Center team in Windom, MN. As a Front Office Specialist wound, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Wound Center and providing exceptional service to our patients.
Location Windom, MN
Compensation Pay range: $17.80 - $24.04/hr (rates reflect applicable experience).
Responsibilities
Operate front office functions and assist staff at the Wound Care Center.
Perform general office and clinic duties, including patient intake and discharge within scope of practice.
Assist with patient care, clinic cleaning, inventory management.
Support scheduled front office hours and PRN cross‑train for LPN duties if certified.
Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Follow weekday hours; clinic may close due to weather or other factors.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
At least two years of office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting.
Preference given to an LPN willing to cross‑train for clinic duties on a PRN basis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Excellent organization and time‑management abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
